In the first photo is the "healthy recommendation" a lot of cereal companies make about breakfast on the back of their cereal box. A bowl of cereal, some milk, and a piece of fruit. This is their official recommendation. There are a few problems with this breakfast, that include the high carbohydrate and low protein content, which can lead to a higher glucose and grehlin spike, and in turn increase more incidents of hunger pains through out the day and therefore leads to overeating.
In the second photo, you have a well-balanced breakfast of protein, carbohydrates, and fats that leave you satisfied for longer periods of time, control your blood sugar levels, and set your metabolism properly for the entire day. It also doesn't take long to prepare as well!
So beware of what big cereal manufactures tell you what a proper breakfast is. Cereals are not the devil, but they may not be as healthy as we've been led to believe.
